The facts and personalities I mentioned in this work have been known to me from college and from the daily news media. I was never a philosophy or theology students. As far as the Soviet or Russian policies were concerned, I learned them mostly in the Ukrainian Underground. Later I collected information from former Soviet witnesses who, after World War II, lived in many countries of Western Europe. But the most helpful to me was the Internet.
